COMMUNITY ALERT: CREW LOVE Tuesdays is not an FTP event!
January 30, 2013 05:37 AM PST
The following flyer is a direct rip-off from FTP Movement's (FTP) flyer for its 7th year anniversary celebration in 2011. The image in question was not only altered via a stolen image from the internet but also uses promotional techniques that contradict the mission of FTP, such as the inclusion of a sacred adinkra symbol (gye nyame) on a flyer that conversely promotes non-sacred activities. The sources who produced this flyer have been traced, contacted, and asked to cease using this material, which is the intellectual property of FTP and its affiliates. FTP strongly encouraes its supportors to use caution if deciding to attend this event, for it is not a FTP affair.

WE ARE STILL TROY DAVIS RALLY & MEMORIAL AFRIKAN DRUM CIRCLE (FRIDAY SEPT. 21st)!
September 20, 2012 04:12 PM PDT
WE ARE STILL TROY DAVIS RALLY & MEMORIAL AFRIKAN DRUM CIRCLE-
1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE MURDER OF TROY DAVIS!
Join us at Troy Davis Park (aka Robert Woodruff Park) downtown Atlanta, 7:00pm on September 21st as we commemorate the one year anniversary of the murder of Troy Davis, an innocent man whose life was taken by the state. We will also be paying homage to two of Troys family members, his mother Virginia Davis who, according to her daughter Martina, "died of a broken heart" shortly after Troy Davis' final appeal was denied and a few months before his execution...“I just think my mother died of a broken heart, but she made sure we were strong enough to deal with this,” Correia said. “It’s not just the inmate who is on Death Row. That whole family is on Death Row.” (source http://blackamericaweb.com/). Troys sister Martina Correia also transcended after losing an 11 year battle with breast cancer just months after Troys execution. We hold the state fully responsible for ALL of the Davis families losses and on September 21st we will show that we have not, and will never forget their blatant disregard for human life and the hypocrisy and corruption of the U.S. Injustice System.

PRESS PLAY TO HEAR THE OFFICIAL PROMO ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
Black August is here and it is a month in which we commemorate the struggles and triumphs of our freedom fighters turned political prisoners, some of whom went into exile, others assassinated - from the brothas and sistas who organized free breakfast programs and community clinics, to those who were convicted of helping to bust fellow freedom fighters out of prison, who organized prison rebellions in order to acquire basic human rights, and those who spoke out against the abuses of this government against the poor and so-called minorities and thus suffered greatly for it. We must never forget their stories, their efforts, nor their accomplishments, and must relate to future generations how their sacrifices changed our lives for the better. To learn more, the following are some of the gatherings in ATLANTA that will be addressing the human rights violations, history and present day effects that were born out of the Black Power Movement:

"If you do not understand White Supremacy (Racism) - what it is, and how it works - everything else that you understand, will only confuse you."
Neely Fuller, Jr. (1971). The United Independent Compensatory Code/System/Concept
"Racism (White Supremacy) is the local and global power system and dynamic, structured and maintained by persons who classify themselves as white, whether consciously or subconsciously determined, which consists of patterns of perception, logic, symbol formation, thought, speech, action and emotional response, as conducted simultaneously in all areas of people activity (economics, education, entertainment, labor, law, politics, religion, sex and war). The ultimate purpose of the system is to prevent white genetic annihilation on planet Earth - a planet in which the overwhelming majority of people are classified as non-white (black, brown, red and yellow) by white-skinned people. All of the non-white people are genetically dominant (in terms of skin coloration) compared to the genetically recessive white-skinned people".
"The system of Racism (White Supremacy) utilizes deceit and violence (inclusive of chemical warfare, biological warfare and psychological warfare), indeed Any Means Necessary, to achieve its ultimate goal objective of white genetic survival and to prevent white genetic annihilation on planet Earth."
"In the existing system of Racism (White Supremacy) when the term is undefined and poorly understood there is general confusion and chaos on the part of the victims of that system (local, national and global). It then becomes impossible for the victims of racism (White Supremacy) to effectively counter the global system of Racism (White Supremacy)."
"The African enslavement, imperialism, colonialism, neo-colonialism, fascism, etc., are all dimensions and aspects of Racism (White Supremacy)."
